Nathan Moore, CEO of Potters Friends Foundation receives cheque for £1,754.00 from AIC Chairman, Barry Lancaster
Every year, we welcome hundreds of groups from all backgrounds to Potters Resort and from time to time, some of them will raise funds for the Potters Friends Foundation.
In April 2018, we were pleased to welcome the AIC (Association of Independent Clubs) to Potters for their annual conference. Every year the AIC hosts a raffle and auction during their conference weekend to raise money for a chosen cause and we were thrilled to hear from Terry Stevens, the event organiser, who advised that in 2018 they would be donating their efforts to the Potters Friends Foundation.
The conference weekend was opened by Terry, along with Laura Ashling of our Group Sales Team, before Nathan introduced the Potters Friends Foundation, highlighting the work that we do here on Resort.
Not only did the AIC have a fantastic weekend with us, they raised £1,754.00; a truly staggering amount, especially when considering tickets were sold for just over a day.
We'd like to take this opportunity to give our huge thanks and appreciation to the AIC for their unbelievable generosity - the Foundation is always grateful for support on any level, but such an amount in such a short space of time far exceeded any expectations. We understand it was a record effort for the AIC too!
