Big Jump raises £1,711.54 for Big C…eventually!
At the second attempt, four brave souls jumped from 14,000 feet at a nearby airfield in order to raise funds for Norfolk's cancer charity, Big C.
The team of Katie Pigeon, Sharry Stowell, Sophie Waters and Buzby Allen ventured to Ellough Airfield on Sunday 7th August, butterflies fluttering, only for wind and rain to put paid to their first attempt amidst an anxious wait, all suited and booted. However, not be be denied and having already raised a tremendous £1,711.54 for this great cause, they would get to perform their jump just a few days later…even if they all had to go individually!
Sharry and Sophie were followed by Katie a few days later, before Buzby took to the skies on Tuesday 16th August (kicking and screaming).
Well done to all involved; what a fantastic achievement and experience.
