Details announced for charity performance of Potters Theatre Company’s Christmas Spectacular
Potters Resort will once again open its doors to locals on Saturday 14 December 2019 for a special charity performance of Potters Theatre Company’s 2019 Christmas Spectacular.
All proceeds raised from the family friendly charity matinee performance will raise money for Potters Friends Foundation. Last year £10,000 was raised from ticket sales of the matinee performance.
Ensuring that the audience has a Merry Little Christmas, the feel-good Christmas Spectacular from the Potters Theatre Company is a fast-moving celebration of the festive season with its postcard perfect sets, dazzling routines, stunning vocals, colourful costumes and Potters’ own unique Christmassy atmosphere. Set in a winter wonderland, the audience will enjoy a festive-themed song and dance extravaganza, featuring stunning costumes, a nutcracker comedy section, medleys, a live band and ending in a White Christmas.
We caught up with Nicky Hathway, our entertainments director, who said: “People can expect the usual fantastic visual spectacle of costumes and wonderful sets, and our huge LED screen will transport the audience from one incredible scene to another in seconds. It wouldn’t be Christmas at Potters without the Christmas Spectacular, as we really start the countdown to Christmas in style, incorporating as many Christmas songs as we can in the show. There really is no better atmosphere than Potters at Christmas and it is a real treat for us all to put on this special matinee performance of the Spectacular for the Potters Friends Foundation. Our large production shows are usually held every evening exclusively for our resident guests and non-residents attending the Black Rock Grill, so this one-off Christmas charity matinee show is a great opportunity for locals to see the show and celebrate the festivities with us, whilst supporting local good causes at the same time.”
Potters Theatre Company has a cast and crew of 70.
Arrival time is from 2.30pm, with the show commencing at 3pm. 700 seats are available for the special performance.
There is a minimum donation per ticket of £15 (aged 12 and over) and £7.50 for children under 12.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 25 September 2019. To book tickets, call 01502 735 181 or visit Potters Resort’s Booking Lounge at Hopton-on-Sea.
