Funds raised on NRD ’17 donated to Anchorage Trust
A few weeks ago, we reported that some teams at Potters Resort had been busy raising valuable funds as part of their annual team days. One of those included National Receptionists’ Day where our team raised an incredible £1,628.21.
It is with great delight that those funds have since been donated to the Anchorage Trust, a Great Yarmouth based charity supporting vulnerable young people who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness.
MD of Potters Resort and Patron of the charity, John Potter said, “The Anchorage Trust do a terrific job in our local community. Not only are they helping young people find homes at a faster rate by working with local landlords, they are equally ensuring that it remains sustainable through joined-up thinking with local employers, moving those young people in to work or at the very least, vital skills training. The team at Anchorage Trust has grown in recent months and they’ve even moved offices to accommodate everyone helping, but one thing has remained constant; their passion in putting right this growing challenge in Great Yarmouth.”
A big well done to our amazing Reception Team, those who supported in making their day such a success, and of course, everyone at the Anchorage Trust. We wish you every success going forward.
