Housekeeping Recognition Day raises over £800 for Potters Friends Foundation
A Housekeeping Recognition Day was held in October at Potters Resort and raised an incredible £803.52 for the Potters Friends Foundation.
The housekeeping team held a cake sale, with a range of tempting homemade treats on sale, as well as a bric-a-brac sale, a ‘guess the soaps in the jar’ competition and raffle.
The busy team came in as normal to service the rooms, before being divided into teams to take part in some fun activities. The teams had to build the tallest tower out of toilet rolls (the highest one was 230cm), they also took part in a treasure hunt and had a challenge to buy as many different items from Pop in Shop that they could with £10 as the clock was ticking – 27 items was the record!
Other fun on the day included quizzes, spot prizes around the hotel, bungalows and laundry room, and afternoon tea.
Around 60 of the team took part on the day and they also got a box of chocolates as a thank you for all their hard work.
Thanks to all the team for raising such a wonderful sum of money for the Foundation.
